On the whole, New York has defi nite merits for the class audience. On the strength of its impressive business in multiplexes and cities (where the first week’s shares will be excellent) and non-theatrical revenues, the film will not only cover its cost but also yield profits.

On the whole, Runway is the kind of film from which the audience would want to run away. Disaster. J71 Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.’s Runway (A) is a crime thriller with a story that couldn’t have been more ridiculous and a screenplay so half-baked that it’s a wonder, someone could make a film based on it.

On the whole, director McG’s man vs. machine sci-fi caper is overloaded with warfare that is too mechanical and fails to touch the sensitive nerves of a human being. But, though it won’t evoke any chilling, haunting feelings of/for the future, the high-voltage non-stop thrills will ensure a fair run at the box-office.
