Lucky Distributors

Some of the distributors, who acquired Veer for a price, are lucky. For, even though Eros, the presenter of the Salman starrer, is due to lose over Rs. 15 crore in the period drama, the distributors are expected to sail safe and some of them will even earn commission.
For instance, the C.I. distributor, who paid Rs. 81 lakh MG royalty to Eros, has earned a share of Rs. 84 lakh in the first week itself.
In Rajasthan, where the film was released by Sanjay Chhattar in Eros’ account, the film has yielded a fantastic share of Rs. 1.65 crore in the first week! It is expected to do a business of around Rs. 2.15 crore in that territory.
Even the C.P. Berar distributor is likely to sail safe. Unfortunately, the film cost a bomb to make, which is why Eros will not be able to recover its investment. But thankfully, some of its distributors are smiling as they won’t be in the red.
