The new Copyright Amendment Bill, if passed, will be nothing short of a Draconian law for film producers and it needs to be fought tooth and nail by them. It is actually a mystery why the cabinet passed the Bill (now awaiting the approval of the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha) without so much as taking the film industry into confidence.
